As part of the Bharat Raksha Parv initiative being conducted by Dainik Jagran, the students of the school visited the Abdul Hamid Sainik Institute, where they tied rakhis to General Joshi and the soldiers, extending heartfelt wishes for their happiness, good health, and prosperous lives. In addition, at the District Sainik Board Office, students tied rakhis to Captain Rakesh Shukla and other soldiers. In a moment of honour and unity, the National Flag was unfurled by Dr. Somendra Tomar and gracefully released the tricolour balloons aloft into the azure sky, and they became a vivid emblem of India's aspirations and progress, as the strains of the National Anthem reverberated across the campus. As part of the Independence week celebrations, Classes VI–VIII staged the vibrant “Dance of Valour” competition, honouring the courage of soldiers, the legacy of unsung freedom fighters, the strength of Indian women, and the fiery spirit of revolutionaries. Young participants showcased garments crafted from sustainable and recycled materials in a vibrant ramp walk. On the vibrant occasion of La Fête Nationale (Bastille Day), K. L. International School transformed into a kaleidoscope of colours, creativity, and cultural charm through its thoughtfully curated celebration titled “Scenic Sojourn.”
This immersive event served as a cultural voyage into the heart of France, beautifully capturing its rich history, vibrant art, and national pride. Students brought the essence of liberté, égalité, fraternité to life through a variety of presentations, artistic displays, performances, and engaging activities that reflected the spirit of the French Revolution and modern-day France.
The atmosphere was both festive and enlightening, transporting the audience through sights and sounds that echoed French tradition — from captivating music and symbolic décor to heartfelt performances and educational insights.

Pragati House dazzled the audience with Brazil’s colourful culture and festive spirit, earning the top spot. Prayas House secured second place with a sleek, futuristic presentation on Japan, while Prakash House won hearts with their lively take on Australia. Prerna House delivered a bold and detailed portrayal of Russia, showcasing its dedication and depth of research.
More than just a competition, Techvibe 2025 was a celebration of curiosity, collaboration, and creativity. Principal Mr. Sudhandhu Shekher applauded the young tech-savvies for their innovative efforts, marking the event as a shining example of 21st-century learning.

A special assembly was conducted by Classes I–V, beginning with a soulful prayer and the national pledge. KLI celebrated this day by organising an engaging interview activity to raise awareness about asteroids, their impact, and planetary defence.
In this activity, one student took on the role of the interviewer, while others portrayed two famous asteroids—Ceres and Vesta—along with an astronaut. Through this creative role-play, students discussed the significance of Asteroid Day, the dangers posed by asteroid impacts, and the methods scientists use to track them.
This interactive event offered a fun and educational experience, helping students explore the science behind asteroids in an enjoyable. It also raised awareness about space safety and encouraged scientific thinking among students, emphasising the importance of asteroid education in today’s world.

The 5th National Level Essay Writing Competition – KIZUNA KATHA 2025, organised by Experience Japan, served as an exemplary platform to foster intercultural understanding and showcase the creative brilliance of young minds across India. Focused on strengthening Indo-Japanese ties through literary expression, this prestigious event drew an impressive 1,481 participants nationwide. Participants competed in three thoughtfully curated categories: Category 1 – Grades 4 to 6, Category 2 – Grades 7 to 9, Category 3 – Grades 10 to 12.
Following the initial round, only 68 students were shortlisted for Round 2, based on the originality, clarity, and depth of their essays. Among these meritorious few, two students from KLI emerged as shining representatives of the school’s literary excellence: Vedant Prem Khare, class V (Category 1), Saanvi Chikara, class VIII (Category 2).
Through their insightful and articulate entries, both students advanced to Round 2 with great promise. After a rigorous evaluation process, the competition further narrowed down to 16 finalists from across the country. The ceremony marked the formal induction of the newly elected Prefectorial Board, selected through a rigorous and merit-based process. After a gripping contest, House Prakash secured the First Position, followed by Prerna and Prayas in Second and Third places respectively. Vanya Agarwal and Pratyaksha Bhardwaj were declared Best Speakers For the Motion, while Meet Arora was awarded Best Speaker Against the Motion.

The objective of the drill was to educate students about safe evacuation procedures and emergency response protocols in case of a fire outbreak. Fire Officer Mr. R.K. Singh, along with his team of fire-fighters, conducted the session and briefed students on essential safety measures.
The students were taught various techniques to safeguard themselves during a fire emergency. The highlight of the event was a live demonstration by the fire-fighting team, showcasing how to extinguish different types of fires efficiently and without panic. The team also demonstrated the correct use of fire prevention equipment and guided the students through a step-by-step evacuation procedure.

A Parents' Orientation Program titled "Parenting and Schooling: A Shared Journey" was organized at KLI for the parents of Class IV students to provide insights into the transformative journey of transitioning to the middle wing. The orientation covered vital aspects such as the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP), the National Curriculum Framework (NCF), and the National Credit Framework (NCrF), along with academic changes implemented in the school.
Ms. Reetul Arora, coordinator of the middle wing addressed the developmental and behavioural patterns of pre-adolescents and informed parents about the various teaching methodologies employed at the school.
Mr. S. Shekhar, the school principal, highlighted the importance of holistic development, as well as social and emotional growth, and shared valuable parenting tips to help parents support their children during this crucial stage.

Special Assembly on the harvest festival of Baisakhi, was conducted with zest and zeal at KLI. This festival marks the Sikh New Year and the formation of Khalsa Panth by Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
The students were informed about Indian agricultural traditions and the significance of various grains and cereals. They were also guided about importance of planting trees and saving water. As it's a festival of joy, religious gatherings and cultural festivities, a vibrant Bhangra performance added glory to the day.

Activities like colour dabbing, origami hand-printing, and interactive jam sessions made their first school experience both fun and engaging. Teachers greeted them warmly, placing welcome cards in their diaries to mark the beginning of their educational journey.
