Students embrace family values in a vibrant celebration

The Family Day celebration at K. L. International School was a delightful event as the students and their parents were immersed in a day, full of fun and learning. The event aimed to highlight the importance of family values and fostering a sense of unity and belonging. The students were encouraged to reflect on the significance of family in their lives.

A variety of family games were organized, providing opportunities for families to bond and create lasting memories together. These games not only promoted teamwork and communication but also brought laughter and joy to all involved.

Our School Principal Mr. Sudhanshu Shekhar acclaimed the day to be a resounding success and assumed that such occasions become a reason for bringing the families together in a celebration of love and unity thereby cherishing and nurturing relationships.


Klites fostered a sense of unity and patriotism on Kranti Diwas

The echoes of revolution reverberated throughout the school premises on the auspicious occasion of Kranti Diwas. A special assembly commenced with prayer, pledges, thoughtful speeches and an engaging skit by the students.

The highlight of the assembly was the harmonious ode to Kranti Diwas through the Inter-House group singing competition 'Kranti Dhara'. This competition served as a platform for students of the middle wing to showcase their exceptional musical talents. 

Each house presented a diverse range of songs, demonstrating not only their vocal prowess but also their creativity in musical expression. Everyone was sailing with the spirit of patriotism. 

Pragati & Prakash House bagged the first position. Prerna House captured the second position and the third position was obtained by Prayas House. The judges faced a challenging task in selecting the winners, as the level of talent and enthusiasm displayed by all the participants was high.

The School Principal Mr Sudhanshu Shekhar expressed appreciation for the winners' achievements and extended heartfelt wishes for success in their future endeavors.

Overall the Kranti Diwas celebration was a resounding success showcasing artistic expression among the student body.


Future Diplomats illuminate their radiance with a splendid triumph at the MUN

Students from K. L. International School showcased exemplary diplomatic skills and emerged as winners yet again, maintaining their winning streak at the prestigious Ascendants Model United Nations (MUN) conference hosted by Dayawati Modi Academy. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from schools across the region, with K. L. International students securing numerous accolades and the Best Delegation.

There was a plethora of awards like Best Delegate where Archie Sharma, Addya Tyagi, Skandita Tyagi, Shaurya Singh, Triveni Dutta and Prerit Kapoor demonstrated outstanding leadership and negotiation abilities, earning them not only the coveted title but also a cash prize of Rs. 4000 each.

Another category of awards was high commendation, which was captured by Dhairya Chahal and Aradhya Singhal by showcasing their commendable diplomacy and strategic thinking, thereby earning them a cash prize of Rs.2500 along with the award. Amteshwar Singh keen eye for capturing the essence of the conference through the lens earned him the distinction of Best Photographer and a cash prize of Rs.3000.

Amay Mehra, Arnav Indauria, Praganya Anand, Mahip Singh, Ashmit Agarwal, Jahnavi Sharan, Kaushiki Bhardwaj, Anukriti Tomar, Ishika Kajla and Ishaanvi Tyagi were recognized for their noteworthy contributions and received Special Mention awards. Meet Arora and Navya Johri were acknowledged for their articulate arguments and received a Verbal Mention.

The Investiture Ceremony of the senior wing held on 8 May 2024 was not merely a celebration of leadership but also a reaffirmation of commitment to nurturing growth and sustainability. Ms. Nupur Goel (IAS), CDO Meerut, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, accompanied by esteemed members of the management, including Mr. Tejinder Khurana, Vice Chairman, Directors Mr. Manmeet Khurana and Mr. Harneet Khurana, alongside the Principal, Mr. Sudhanshu Shekhar, enhancing the event with their esteemed presence.

In a symbolic gesture towards environmental stewardship, medicinal saplings were presented to the Chief Guest, Vice Chairman and Directors. 

The ceremony further embraced tradition with a lamp lighting ceremony conducted by the Chief Guest, members of the management, and the Principal. This ritual symbolized the illumination of knowledge and wisdom, guiding the students on their journey of leadership and learning.

The ceremony commenced with a regal march past, showcasing the discipline and unity ingrained within the student body. Led by the main Apex body members and House captains, the procession set the tone for a ceremony filled with promise and dedication.

Ms. Nupur bestowed badges of honor upon deserving individuals, recognizing their commitment to leadership and service. Head Boy Pragun Parashar, Head Girl Anushka Garg, Vice Head Boys Dhairya Chahal, Shaurya Singh, Vice Head Girls Archie Sharma, Addya Tyagi and other post holders were adorned with symbols of responsibility and trust.

The ambiance resonated with creativity and enthusiasm as young artists captivated the audience with motivational performances. Talented singers stirred hearts with inspirational melodies, setting the stage for a celebration of aspirations and dreams.

Former Head boy, Tanav Bhatia, administered the oath, while former Head girl, Ramya Singhal, shared her invaluable experiences, paving the way for the newly elected student council to embark on their journey of leadership and service.

Expressions of gratitude echoed through the hall as the head boy and head girl extended warm thanks to all who contributed to the success of the event. Mother's Day Celebration "Unification" at K. L. International

"Motherhood, where all love begins and ends."

K. L. International School celebrated Mother's Day with heartfelt warmth and creativity, under the theme "Unification". The event aimed to honour the cherished bond between mothers and their children, while also showcasing the talent and affection of the students.

Children organized various games and activities to honour their mothers, bestowing upon them special titles reflecting their unique qualities such as "Queen of Affection", "Queen of Aesthetic", "Queen of Jewel" and "Queen of Elegance." These titles highlighted the multifaceted roles mothers play in their children's lives. In the classroom, children dedicated their time and creativity to crafting personalized cards for their mothers.

A Tech-Titan competition was also organized, where children showcased their technological skills by crafting E-Cards to pay homage to their mothers.

The whole event was a resounding success, embodying the spirit of love, appreciation and gratitude. The school premises were filled with warmth, laughter and an overwhelming sense of love as mothers and their children came together to celebrate this special day.

Eco Club 'Friends of Earth' Visits Recology Recycling India Pvt Ltd.

On  22 April 24 , the environmentally-conscious students of Class VIII , under the banner of the Eco Club 'Friends of Earth,' embarked on a transformative journey to Recology Recycling India Pvt Ltd. The purpose of the visit was to deepen their understanding of recycling processes and environmental stewardship.

Upon arrival, the students were greeted by knowledgeable staff who guided them through the facility's operations. They witnessed first-hand the intricate processes involved in recycling various materials, from plastics to paper and beyond. The tour provided valuable insights into the importance of waste management and the role recycling plays in mitigating environmental degradation.

Engaging presentations and interactive sessions further enriched the students' learning experience, fostering a sense of responsibility towards sustainable practices. The visit not only educated but also inspired the young minds to become proactive agents of change in their communities.

Giggles Galore: Reliving the Fun-Filled World Laughter Day Bash

Laughter is the language of the soul.  

Laughter for kids is like magic; it makes them happier and healthier. Keeping this in view the Kindergarten Wing of K. L. International School celebrated World Laughter Day. The tiny tots were shown a cartoon movie that brought smiles and laughter to them. A laughter yoga session was conducted. Laughter yoga exercises were interspersed with deep breathing techniques to induce relaxation and uplift spirits. Activities such as funny face contests and improvisational games kept the energy high throughout the day. The event served as a reminder to prioritize laughter and humour in daily life, fostering a happier and healthier school community.

The Principal Mr Sudhanshu Shekhar highlighted the significance of laughter in reducing stress and promoting mental health.



Celebrating Competitive Excellence in JEE Main 2023-24

In a remarkable demonstration of academic prowess, several students from our institution have excelled in the prestigious JEE Main 2023-24 examination, securing commendable scores. Notable among them is Saksham Agarwal, whose outstanding performance garnered an impressive percentile of 99.12, followed closely by Kartikey Singh & Raghav Sharma with a notable percentile of 98.53 & 98.35 respectively. The celebration of achievement continues with Raghav Goel and Shivansh Goyal, whose impressive percentiles of 97.81 and 97.80, respectively, reflect their unwavering dedication to academic excellence. Additionally, Shradha Kabdwal, with a notable percentile of 97.41, adds to the chorus of triumph.

The achievement continues with Vishesh Sharma and Vaibhav Kalyan, who showcased remarkable dedication and diligence, securing percentiles of 96.75 and 96.55, respectively. Additionally, Vardaan Gahlot, Suyash Tyagi, Devansh Chauhan, and Nirvan Singh exhibited exemplary commitment, achieving percentiles of 96.00, 95.32, 93.86, and 93.83, respectively.

Labour Day: honouring the power of unity in work, the backbone of every thriving society

On the occasion of 'World Labour Day' the significance of workers in our lives was highlighted at K.G. wing & I-II wing of our school. The event aimed to educate children about the importance of labourers and to instil a sense of respect and gratitude towards them.

During the event, the importance of workers in our lives was emphasized through various activities and discussions. Tiny-Tots were engaged in creating beautiful symbols of appreciation, to recognize the contributions of helpers.

They were encouraged to create handmade badges and cards, to honour the labourers. These symbols served as a reminder of the invaluable role workers play in our society.

The event aimed to cultivate a sense of respect and gratitude towards all workers in the minds of children, by recognizing the efforts of helpers and labourers.



Klites foster their love for Literature

At K. L. International School, World Book Day was not just another event; it was a vibrant celebration of literature and reading culture. The day commenced with the Kindergarten section engaging in a 'D.E.A.R.' (DROP EVERYTHING and READ) activity, emphasizing the importance of reading from a young age.

Meanwhile, across other wings of the school, students were immersed in a plethora of activities designed to ignite their passion for literature. Through the art of paper bag making, adorned with inspiring quotes from beloved literary works, students found a creative outlet to express themselves while delving into the wisdom of literature.

In another corner of the school, students eagerly shared their favourite literary gems and stories, fostering a sense of community and appreciation for diverse narratives. The atmosphere was alive with excitement as students explored the endless possibilities of storytelling.

Adding to the festivities, an Inter-House Bard Bash competition was held to celebrate Shakespeare Day. Participants showcased their speaking and dramatic skills, bringing to life the timeless works of Shakespeare with props and PowerPoint presentations. Plays such as "Macbeth" and "The Merchant of Venice" were vividly portrayed, captivating the audience with their interpretations of these classic works.

Klites make a unified effort towards environmental consciousness

On the occasion of World Earth Day, students from all the wings of our school came together to celebrate and advocate for environmental conservation through a variety of engaging activities.

The day commenced with the tiny tots delving into eco-friendly crafts and presenting a lively skit, while dressed in vibrant green attire, symbolizing their solidarity with Mother Earth. Meanwhile, the other students showcased their imaginative flair through a fancy dress competition centred around environmental themes.

The assembly conducted on this day was a poignant reminder of our collective responsibility towards the environment. It featured solemn prayers, heartfelt pledges, thought-provoking thoughts, inspiring poems, insightful skits, and an uplifting dance performance celebrating the beauty of nature.

Lastly, our future environmentalists also displayed their artistic talents through a poster-making activity, creating visually compelling posters being the proponents for environmental conservation.

Overall, the day culminated as a resounding success, with students participating in various activities aimed at fostering environmental consciousness and promoting sustainable living practices.

On the occasion of World Heritage Day, K. L. International witnessed a vibrant celebration filled with enthusiasm and learning. The students of classes III-V, under the banner of the Chanakya Club, orchestrated a captivating storytelling event centred around Indian monuments. This initiative aimed to spark curiosity and admiration among the students for the diverse cultural treasures that shape our world. The storytelling event transported the audience on a mesmerizing journey through the rich tapestry of Indian heritage.

Meanwhile, the students of classes VI-VIII organized a Currency Note Quiz, adding another dimension to the celebration. This quiz was designed to test the participants' knowledge of various currencies from around the globe. Through images and descriptions of currency notes, participants were challenged to identify different currencies, fostering cultural awareness and appreciation for the rich diversity of nations worldwide. It proved to be an engaging and educational activity, encouraging students to delve deeper into the fascinating world of currency. 

The celebration of the World Heritage Day at K. L. International was a resounding success, thanks to the enthusiastic participation of students. The Principal Mr Sudhanshu Shekhar appreciated the efforts of the students and the teachers for organising such insightful activities.



“Baisakhi's blessings cascade like golden rays, illuminating all in their path."

The onset of spring in India is marked by the celebration of the Baisakhi festival around the nation. This festival signifies the end of the harvest season and is an occasion of tremendous elation and festivity for the farmers. It is celebrated on 13 April annually.

KLI celebrated this harvest festival by conducting an assembly where the students prayed and thanked the Lord Almighty for everything. Thereafter the students came up with a school pledge and a beautiful thought.

Amazing facts and an engrossing speech regarding Baisakhi highlighted the importance of the day. A poem related to the festival was recited by the students. A hypnotic dance performance on Baisakhi left the audience spellbound.

The School Principal, Mr Sudhanshu Shekhar informed students that Baisakhi marks a new beginning, eliminates negativity and embraces positivity.

The dawn of a new academic year at K. L. International School's K.G. Wing was adorned with resplendent decorations and an atmosphere brimming with anticipation and zeal. The various departments orchestrated a captivating morning assembly, heralding the commencement of the new session in a manner both delightful and inspiring. Parents, accompanied by their young wards, were greeted with a plethora of engaging activities meticulously arranged for their participation. From the artistry of handprints to the intricacies of headgear making, and from the joy of tear and pasting to the harmonious melodies of jam sessions, the children exhibited boundless enthusiasm, setting a spirited tone for the day ahead. Teachers, in turn, bestowed heartfelt wishes upon the eager learners, fostering an ambience of warmth and encouragement.

For the students of classes I & II, the day unfolded with reverential blessings bestowed by Maa Saraswati, followed by a serene Morning Prayer and an exuberant display of dance. The coordinator, with words of sagacity, kindled the young minds with inspiration and motivation, setting the stage for a journey of growth and discovery.

Additionally, the students of classes III-V commenced their day with a prayer and pledge, setting a solemn tone. Students showcased the importance of yoga and meditation through dance, flute bhajan, and Tandav Strota singing. The coordinator-led interaction highlighted their significance. The assembly emphasized integrating these practices into daily life for holistic well-being.

Meanwhile, students from classes VI-VIII were treated to an enlightening assembly themed "Igniting Inspiration." Within this captivating setting, they immersed themselves in a tapestry of activities, including soulful renditions of Saraswati Vandana, the serenity of yoga, reverential tributes through guru Vandana, and a thought-provoking performance entitled "Getting Rid of Distractions - A Mobile Act." Each endeavour aimed not only to entertain but also to instil values and cultivate a sense of purpose among the young learners.

The culmination of the morning assembly saw Mr Sudhanshu Shekhar, the esteemed principal, extending his sincere appreciation for the students' ardour and dedication exhibited on the inaugural day of the 2024-25 session.
