The event concluded with prize distribution, where Friends of Earth secured first place, Ponder Arena took second, and Digitech came in third. The Friends of Earth Club at K. L. International School organized a quiz on World Ecology Day, designed to test participants' knowledge of various environmental topics, ranging from climate change, biodiversity, and conservation efforts to ecological principles. The quiz aimed to increase understanding of critical issues such as deforestation, pollution, and sustainable development, encouraging participants to think critically about human impact on the environment and the role they can play in its preservation.
Structure of the Quiz: The quiz consisted of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and true/false statements covering a wide array of ecological topics. It was divided into several categories to make the quiz both informative and challenging. Among the four teams, Nature Ninja secured first place, followed by Earth Empire, Green Goblins, and Eco Warriors.

Keeping the same in view Global Photography Contest - Season 8 was recently conducted and there were around 10,000 participants from over 10 countries. Among them, our budding photographer Amteshwar Singh of class XII, achieved an outstanding 101st rank in the highly competitive Product Photography category. For his remarkable effort, Amteshwar received a Medal of Appreciation, a Certificate, and a Letter of Recommendation.

On September 11th, 2024, 40 students from the Innovators Club had the privilege of touring the Isocraft Ice Cream Factory in Meerut. The visit offered a captivating insight into the intricate process of ice cream production.
Students witnessed the complete journey of ice cream making, from raw materials to packaging and storage. They observed state-of-the-art machinery like the pasteurizer, homogenizer, and brine tank in action, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the automated production process.
A memorable moment was stepping into the cold storage room, where temperatures dropped to an astonishing -27°C. For many, it was their first experience of such freezing conditions.

Thrilled to announce that our school’s dance team has secured the 2nd prize in the “Maa Tujhe Pranam – Inter-School Dance Competition” organized by Amar Ujala, where a total of 10 schools participated. A group of students from our school K. L. International recently visited the CCS University at the Tilak School of Journalism and Mass Communication. The visit offered an insightful experience into the world of radio broadcasting and mass communication.
The students were welcomed by the faculty, who provided an overview of the radio station’s history and its significance in training future journalists. The students were given a tour of the station’s facilities, including the recording studios and editing rooms, where they observed live broadcasts and pre-recorded segments in progress.

Their project, Green Carbon Capsules made from activated carbon using onion skins, effectively helps clean the contaminated textile dye wastewater. This innovative use of organic waste in water purification is a remarkable achievement. The team earned a medal, a citation, and Amazon vouchers worth ?15,000.

Students from grades VI-X enthusiastically participated in this special event, which commenced with the lighting of the lamp and a welcoming dance, setting a joyful atmosphere for all. On this occasion, the students captivated the audience with their rendition of the Sanskrit song “S?dar? Sam?hat?m.” Following this, they performed a short play titled “Chaturdasha Ratn?ni” (The Fourteen Gems), through which they unravelled the mysteries of the 14 gems that emerged from Samudra Manthan. The students impressively delivered dialogues in fluent Sanskrit, highlighting the significance of elements like poison, the Kalpavriksha, the Parijat tree, nectar, Goddess Lakshmi, the moon, the Airavata elephant, and others.

In celebration of the first National Space Day, our school organized a plethora of activities under the topic "Touching Lives by Touching the Moon: India’s Space Saga." The event foregrounded our nation's proud achievements in space.

Our tiny -tots were full of pep and gusto to recite the poetry. These competitions turn out to foster self-assurance, love for literature and language. It’s a platform to showcase their oratory skills and creativity.

Competing against some of the nation's top young shooters, Yuvraj scored an outstanding 576 out of 600, demonstrating exceptional focus and technique. His remarkable performance not only earned him a place on the podium but also placed him 9th in the overall ranking, marking him as one of the brightest emerging talents in Indian shooting sports. Yuvraj's achievement is a testament to his hard work and dedication, setting a high standard for his peers and inspiring many in the shooting community.

On 21st August 2024, the prestigious Insignia- The Badging Ceremony took place, marking the official appointment of the Students' Council leaders from Class I and II. The event began with the Director of the School, Mr Manmeet Khurana accompanied by the school Principal, Mr Sudhanshu Shekhar bestowing badges upon the newly elected leaders, who will guide this year’s academic and co-curricular-initiatives.
The newly appointed council members then took a solemn oath of allegiance, administered by the Coordinator, affirming their commitment to their roles. To increase technical knowledge KLI organized an INTER HOUSE BYTE BATTLE COMPETITION in III to V wing.
The competition was divided into three levels - poem writing, drawing pictures and designing of PowerPoint presentation. This competition served as a platform that offered a great opportunity for the students to showcase their literary skills, artistic knowledge, creativity and team-building spirit.
All the participants were enthusiastic and keen to enhance their literary and technical skills. The students enjoyed working and learning various features of MS PowerPoint Presentation.
The first position was bagged by Prakash house, Pragati house obtained the second position and the third position was secured by Prayas house.

On August 24, 2024, MPS Main Wing School hosted an intellectually stimulating debate competition centered around the highly contentious topic of “Genetic Engineering: The Monumental Breakthrough in Human Intelligence.” The event saw passionate participation from students of K. L. International School, with Archie Sharma and Dhairya Chahal representing our institution with remarkable distinction.
Archie, who argued in favor of the motion, and Dhairya, who presented a compelling case against it, both exhibited outstanding eloquence and critical thinking. Class VI students initiated the event with an exhilarating Inter-House Just a Minute (JAM) competition. An Orientation Programme was conducted by Mr. Ayush, BIS Resource Person who explained the technical aspects of standardization. The speaker highlighted how standards are developed, the process of certification, and the importance of adhering to these standards in manufacturing.
An interactive Quiz was held to test the students’ knowledge about standardization and BIS. The winners of the Quiz were Vansh Gandhi of class X bagged 1st position along with a cash prize of Rs 1000, 2nd place was secured by Neev Wadhwa of class XII with a cash prize of Rs 750 and 3rd position was claimed by Atharv Kumar of class XII along with cash prize of Rs 500. All the participants were given a consolation prize.

Wing III -V made rakhis from the Best out of waste, using several seeds, intricate rakhis were designed using paper quilling techniques, developing their fine motor skills and patience.

The highlight of the celebration was an evocative enactment program that brought to life the heroic tales of three iconic women freedom fighters: Usha Mehta, Uda Devi, and Captain Lakshmi Sahgal. Usha Mehta’s clandestine role in operating an underground radio station during the Quit India Movement, Uda Devi’s valiant stand in the Revolt of 1857, and Captain Lakshmi’s leadership in the Indian National Army were portrayed with profound intensity and respect.

The extempore format required participants to prepare within an hour.
The esteemed jury panel featured Dr. Antul Umang, an educator and career counselor, and Dr. Meetu, an anesthesia practitioner and owner of Yoga Shranam. Prakash House triumphed in both categories. Dhairya Chahal and Archie Sharma were acclaimed as the Best Speakers in the Express Extempo category, while Vanya Agarwal and Ishaanvi Tyagi received top honours in the Verbal Joust category. On the 20th of July, 2024, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) organised a teacher training programme specifically aimed at educators teaching Artificial Intelligence (AI) to secondary classes (IX & X) in Meerut and nearby districts. The training, conducted at K. L. International School, Meerut, saw participation from approximately 100 teachers from various districts such as Ghaziabad, Noida, Shamli, Hapur etc.
The primary objective of this training programme was to acquaint teachers with the latest changes and revisions in the AI curriculum for secondary classes. The event was graced by Sh. R.P. Aligning with this view, the Paper Bag Day was organised in our school to raise awareness about the benefits of using a paper bag instead of plastic bags. The event engaged the students to educate them about adopting more sustainable practices and the importance of reducing plastic waste. The event commenced with an array of activities reverberating the entire school campus.
The tiny tots of the kindergarten section decorated the paper bags with vibrant and creative hues as part of the paper bag decoration competition which expressed their artistic talents.
The students of the I-II wing witnessed the interactive segment of an assembly conducted to emphasize the importance of making a small change to make a shift from a plastic bag to the use of a paper bag.
An informative and engaging Nukkad Natak was performed by the students of III-V wing which showcased the journey of the paper bags from production to usage. The play also reflected and provided valuable insights into the importance of recycling and reusing paper.

Keeping this in view, K. L. International School celebrated French Day with great enthusiasm, promoting the French language and culture through a variety of activities. A display board competition was organized for the students of classes VI to VIII. These exhibits included posters, models and artwork depicting famous French landmarks, cuisine, fashion, festivals etc. Students participated eagerly in quizzes covering French vocabulary, grammar, history, and famous personalities. The music department hosted a French cultural song competition featuring classics.

Two students from our school, Manasvi Vishnoi of Class III and Athrav Vishnoi of Class VI, participated in a significant event organized by the Shivganga Roller Skating Club, Belgaum from 26 May to 31 May 2024.
The event aimed to set a Guinness Book of World Records for the Fastest 100 M Backwards on Skates using 2 wheels. This ambitious attempt spanned over 75 hours, showcasing the dedication and skill of participants from various backgrounds and age groups.
Both of our students exhibited commendable determination and sportsmanship throughout the event. They have been lauded with Medals and Certificates. Their participation was a contribution to breaking the existing record and also highlighted their commitment to sports and achievement.

The (ISSF) 47th UPSSCC AIR, SMALL BORE 2024 took place in New Delhi at Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range, from July 5, 2024, to July 14, 2024. Anannya clinched the gold medal in the (OC122) 10 M Rifle Women (ISSF) Championship.
In the finals, Anannya showcased her expertise with a stellar performance that left little room for her competitors to challenge her lead. Her final score was a testament to her training and dedication to the sport, resulting in the gold medal.

This day serves as a reminder of the environmental impact of plastic pollution. The day marked various activities that aimed to raise awareness and promote sustainable practices among students. A student from Class VI took a pledge to contribute towards making the Earth plastic-free. This initiative emphasized individual responsibility and commitment to environmental conservation. Students from Classes VII and VIII participated in a creative activity where they made their old T-shirts into reusable bags. Ms Singh demonstrated the steps of performing CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), emphasizing the importance of quick and decisive action. A detailed guide on first aid procedures for cardiac arrest was provided to the attendees. They were shown how to properly position hands for chest compressions, how to deliver rescue breaths and the correct use of air pumps.
