K.L.I. engages in a Tree Plantation drive

“To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow." – Audrey Hepburn.

With this sentiment in mind, our school united on the 15th of July to celebrate an inspiring Tree Plantation Program, a testament to our unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship. The ceremony was honoured by the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including Mr Amit Pal Sharma, IAS Nagar Aayukt Meerut; Ms Neha Vats, founder and Secretary of ‘Hear the Silence Foundation’ in Meerut; and Mr Tumul Kakker, Producer at Doordarshan Delhi. Their participation imbued the occasion with a sense of gravitas, inspiring both students and staff.

The event commenced with an impassioned speech by Ms Neha Vats, who eloquently articulated the pressing need for environmental conservation and the transformative power of community action. Her stirring words deeply resonated with the audience, setting a contemplative tone for the day. Following her address, the Vice Chairman of the School, Mr Tejinder Khurana, and the Director, Mr Harneet Khurana, presented bouquets to our esteemed guests, expressing heartfelt gratitude for their support and encouragement.

An awe-inspiring musical dimension was added to the event with a poignant song about the environment. His melodious voice echoed the collective hope and determination of our school community. The highlight of the day was the tree plantation activity, where dignitaries, management, students, and staff members collaborated in planting saplings, symbolizing our collective commitment to a greener future.

Our School Principal, Mr Sudhanshu Shekhar, emphasized that such collaborative efforts not only foster a sense of unity but also remind us of the simple yet profound impact we can have on our planet.
 


 

A Journey through Pages and Time: Educational Field Trip to C.C.S. University 

The Effervescent Chanakya Club students from classes VI-VIII of K. L. International School embarked on an enriching field trip to the C.C.S. University Library and Museum. This excursion aimed to enhance their research skills, expose them to higher educational resources, and deepen their understanding of local history.

Guided by Dr. J.A. Siddiqui and Ms. Vijay Laxmi, the students explored various sections of the library, including the Special Collections, which feature rare books and manuscripts. A highlight of the visit was viewing a copy of the Constitution of India and delving into newspaper archives.

At the museum, students connected with local history and archaeological sources, fostering critical thinking about the past. This trip provided valuable educational experiences that complemented classroom learning and inspired students to engage more deeply with the world around them.

The field trip was a resounding success, offering unique insights and fostering a deeper connection to historical and contemporary knowledge.
 


 

Turning dreams into Pirouette!

“Dancing is the poetry of the foot.” 

Our school, known for its commitment to fostering talent, witnessed the success and dazzle of our dancing trio Aaradhya Arora of class III, Mishika Goel of class VII and Avya Jain of class VII in the 9th Meerut District Dance Sports Competition 2024. All three of them secured 1st position in solo western dance and Indo filmy categories of their respective age group competition organized by the Dance Sports Association U.P. Their extraordinary performance not only mesmerized the audience but also earned them prestigious accolades at the district level. The district level inter-school competition brought together young dancers from various schools across Meerut. The stage was set, and the air was filled with anticipation as our students took their place on the stage, poised and ready to showcase her talent. Their vibrant costumes, intricate jewellery, and soul-stirring music set the perfect ambiance their exotic individual performances in their respective categories. The success of Aaradhya Arora, Mishika Goel and Avya Jain in the competition serves as an inspiration to other students and reaffirms the school’s commitment to promoting artistic excellence. Such accomplishments not only boost the morale of the individuals but also bring recognition and honour to the institution.
 


 

World Vedic Day enlightens minds at K. L. International School

A vibrant event, World Vedic Day, was celebrated at K. L. International School dedicated to exploring and honouring the ancient wisdom of the Vedas. Organized by the enthusiastic students of the Ponder Arena Club, the day featured a variety of activities aimed at deepening the understanding of Vedic philosophy.

A thrilling quiz competition conducted in the VI-VIII wing of the school, called Veda Vista proved to be the highlight of the day this intellectually stimulating event saw four teams, each comprising three eager participants who competed against each other. The teams demonstrated remarkable knowledge and enthusiasm, reflecting their deep engagement with the subject matter. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as students answered questions about the Vedas and related ancient Indian texts, showcasing their preparation and passion for learning.

The Veda Vista quiz not only provided an opportunity for students to display their intellectual prowess but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and teamwork among the participants. The event was a testament to the dedication of the Ponder Arena Club, making World Vedic Day a memorable and enlightening experience for all involved.

An unparalleled showcase of oratory brilliance unfolded as students from K. L. International School demonstrated exceptional eloquence at the esteemed St. Mary’s Academy Inter School Extempore Competition. Emerging victorious, the K. L. International team clinched the coveted first prize and returned triumphantly with a prestigious trophy.

Dhairya Chahal distinguished himself as the Best Speaker, earning acclaim for his eloquent and persuasive delivery. Archie Sharma's achievement of the Winner's Shield further underscored the team's remarkable skill in extemporaneous speech.

Participants were commended for their nuanced comprehension of diverse topics and their adeptness in articulating thoughts with clarity and sophistication. Their performance not only highlighted their talents but also underscored the school's commitment to rigorous training and support.

The School Management and the Principal, Mr Sudhanshu Shekhar extended heartfelt congratulations to the winners, acknowledging their dedication and outstanding performance. Alumna Kopal Agarwal Inspires Students of Mass Media on Film Industry Careers

Kopal Agarwal, a distinguished alumna of K. L. International School's 2020 batch, recently confronted Mass Media students to share her profound insights on career pathways within the film industry. Presently pursuing her Masters in Filmmaking with a specialization in producing for Films and Television at the renowned Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute in Kolkata, Kopal's session was eagerly anticipated by the students. 

During her discussion, Kopal elaborated on a spectrum of career opportunities available in esteemed institutions associated with the film industry. Her guidance provided aspiring filmmakers with invaluable translucence and direction, shedding light on the diverse avenues within the field.

Renowned for her artistic flair, she embodies passion and unwavering dedication across various artistic domains. Her diverse talents and unwavering commitment to the arts served as an inspirational narrative, motivating students to pursue their creative aspirations and explore the boundless opportunities within the film industry.

Moreover, she also showcased insights into life and dedication at the institution through a compelling PowerPoint presentation, offering a glimpse into the vibrant environment at the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute. Her visit emphasised the transformative journey from K. L. International to a promising future in Film making. The school extends best wishes for her future endeavours.


 

Turning Paper Green: Celebrating Paper Bag Day

Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world. Use paper bags and let the earth breathe. Aligning with this view, the Paper Bag Day was organised in our school to raise awareness about the benefits of using a paper bag instead of plastic bags. The event engaged the students to educate them about adopting more sustainable practices and the importance of reducing plastic waste. The event commenced with an array of activities reverberating the entire school campus. 

The tiny tots of the kindergarten section decorated the paper bags with vibrant and creative hues as part of the paper bag decoration competition which expressed their artistic talents. 

The students of the I-II wing witnessed the interactive segment of an assembly conducted to emphasize the importance of making a small change to make a shift from a plastic bag to the use of a paper bag.

An informative and engaging Nukkad Natak was performed by the students of III-V wing which showcased the journey of the paper bags from production to usage. The play also reflected and provided valuable insights into the importance of recycling and reusing paper.

A speech fostering the need to bring about an impactful change was presented by our honourable Principal Sir thus highlighting the benefits of paper bags. 

The event was a resounding success effectively combining creativity with environmental education and concluded with a renewed commitment from the students as well as teachers to advocate the practice for the benefit of the environment.
 


 

“La Joie de Vivre”: French Day Extravaganza

Understanding languages and other cultures builds bridges.

Keeping this in view, K. L. International School celebrated French Day with great enthusiasm, promoting the French language and culture through a variety of activities. A display board competition was organized for the students of classes VI to VIII. These exhibits included posters, models and artwork depicting famous French landmarks, cuisine, fashion, festivals etc. Students participated eagerly in quizzes covering French vocabulary, grammar, history, and famous personalities. The music department hosted a French cultural song competition featuring classics.

In addition to the main events, the exhibits provided an educational experience, allowing students and visitors to learn more about French culture. The celebration successfully fostered a sense of global awareness and appreciation for the diversity. 

The atmosphere buzzed with excitement when the Principal Mr Sudhanshu Shekhar motivated and informed the students about French culture, that it carries a love for art and entertainment, inviting everyone to join in the celebration and its magnificent display.
 


 

Klites set a Guinness Book of World Record 

Two students from our school, Manasvi Vishnoi of Class III and Athrav Vishnoi of Class VI, participated in a significant event organized by the Shivganga Roller Skating Club, Belgaum from 26 May to 31 May 2024.

The event aimed to set a Guinness Book of World Records for the Fastest 100 M Backwards on Skates using 2 wheels. This ambitious attempt spanned over 75 hours, showcasing the dedication and skill of participants from various backgrounds and age groups.

Both of our students exhibited commendable determination and sportsmanship throughout the event. They have been lauded with Medals and Certificates. Their participation was a contribution to breaking the existing record and also highlighted their commitment to sports and achievement.

The School Management and the Principal congratulated them on their participation and wished them to excel in future endeavours.
 


 

“Klite Anannya Basking in the Golden Glow of Success” 

The (ISSF) 47th UPSSCC AIR, SMALL BORE 2024 took place in New Delhi at Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range, from July 5, 2024, to July 14, 2024.  Anannya clinched the gold medal in the (OC122) 10 M Rifle Women (ISSF) Championship. 

In the finals, Anannya showcased her expertise with a stellar performance that left little room for her competitors to challenge her lead. Her final score was a testament to her training and dedication to the sport, resulting in the gold medal.

Her success adds to K. L. INTERNATIONAL's prominence in shooting sports, continuing the KLI's tradition of excellence in competitions. The School Management and the Principal, Mr. Sudhanshu Shekhar applauded her endeavours. 

This victory marks a major milestone in Anannya’s shooting career highlighting her potential and setting a high standard for her future performances.
 


 

Insights of NCRf Workshop on Learning and Teaching Methodologies 

K. L. International School hosted an insightful workshop on 'Learning and Teaching Methodologies’ in sync with NCRF, led by the esteemed Ms. Nishi Phogat who is an Academic Consultant, Master Trainer, Counsellor, Content Writer, Global Coach Psychologist, Researcher and the best teacher awardee(Delhi Gov.). The workshop provided an in-depth overview of the NCRF, covering its regulatory aspects, credit rating methodologies, and the role of technology in modern credit rating processes.Participants engaged in various interactive sessions, including case study analyses and simulation exercises, which allowed them to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios. 

These hands-on activities facilitated a deeper understanding of the complexities involved in credit rating. The workshop concluded with positive feedback from participants, who highlighted Ms Phogat's expertise and the practical value of the workshop. Attendees suggested organizing more advanced sessions in the future to further explore specific aspects of the NCRF. Overall, the workshop was a resounding success, providing valuable knowledge and skills to all participants.
 


 

International Plastic Bag Free Day Celebration at KLI

'Take a stand for a green tomorrow, refuse plastic today.'

KLI enthusiastically observed International Plastic Bag Free Day, a global initiative aimed at reducing and eliminating the use of single-use plastic bags worldwide. This day serves as a reminder of the environmental impact of plastic pollution. The day marked various activities that aimed to raise awareness and promote sustainable practices among students. A student from Class VI took a pledge to contribute towards making the Earth plastic-free. This initiative emphasized individual responsibility and commitment to environmental conservation. Students from Classes VII and VIII participated in a creative activity where they made their old T-shirts into reusable bags. This hands-on activity not only encouraged creativity but also provided practical solutions to reduce plastic waste.

Through various activities, students were actively engaged in understanding the importance of their contribution to a cleaner environment. 

This day served as a reminder that small changes in daily habits can lead to significant environmental benefits for future generations.
 


 

Workshop on Innovative Pedagogy proves to be an ameliorating experience

K. L. International hosted a workshop on “Innovative Pedagogy in the 21st Century,” led by the esteemed resource person, Ms. Vandana Banga. The workshop focused on modern teaching techniques designed to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Ms. Banga propagated various strategies, like the jigsaw strategy, Think-Pair-Share etc. which would prove effective to foster collaborative learning and critical thinking among students.

She also emphasized the importance of nurturing a strong subconscious mind in children and advocated for techniques that would help build a positive and resilient subconscious, which is crucial for students’ overall mental well-being and academic success. Through engaging activities and insightful discussions, she provided practical tips and methods for educators to implement in their classrooms.

The workshop was an enriching experience for the educators and equipped them with innovative tools and strategies to provide better support to their students in the 21st-century learning environment.  Her insights and expertise were greatly appreciated, leaving a lasting impact on all participants.

"The human species thinks in metaphors and learns through stories." 

Storytelling is a powerful medium that transcends mere facts, embedding ideas and emotions into memorable narratives. This was vividly demonstrated at the recent storytelling event hosted as 'Kahani Cafe – series 3' at KLI. The event showcased a poignant celebration of the parent-child bond.

Parents were the guests of honour and were invited to share their personal stories. These anecdotes ranged from life lessons and childhood memories to professional experiences. The stories were heartfelt, providing a window into their lives and offering valuable insights to the students.

The storytelling event was not only about sharing experiences but also about expressing creativity. Both parents and children had the opportunity to showcase their narrative skills. The creative presentations were filled with emotion, humour and wisdom. The event, overall proved to be a compelling and impactful activity.

Glorifying Perseverance in Radiant Effervescence: The Award Ceremony 2024

K. L. International School recently hosted an Effervescence award ceremony, brimming with pride and joy as the school community came together to celebrate the outstanding achievements of its students and educators. The event commenced with a warm introduction and the ceremonial welcome of the chief guest, ADG, Meerut Zone, Mr. Dhruvakant Thakur and the special guest, Mr. G. S. Dhama, a distinguished Rotarian and law expert. This was followed by the symbolic planting of a sapling, a gesture by the host school and management to signify growth and a commitment to nurturing future generations.

The dignitaries and school leaders, including Vice Chairman Mr Tejinder Khurana, Directors Mr Manmeet Khurana & Mr Harneet Khurana and Principal Mr Sudhanshu Shekhar, then participated in the traditional lighting of the lamp, marking the official commencement of the ceremony. This auspicious moment set the tone for an evening dedicated to recognizing excellence and perseverance.

The awards segment began with the recognition of the toppers from Classes XII and X, followed by accolades for subject-wise toppers who demonstrated exceptional proficiency in their respective areas. Ramya Singhal, who achieved an outstanding All India Rank 1, was honoured with a cash prize of 1,21,000/-. Bhuvi Chugh and Kamya Chopra each received a cheque for 21,000/- for their exemplary performances, while Pranay Rastogi, a Class X topper, was also awarded 21,000/-. In total, 118 students across various categories were awarded cash prizes and trophies, celebrating their academic excellence and dedication. Special awards were also presented to students who excelled in the NEET and IIT JEE examinations, as well as to budding authors who showcased remarkable literary talents.

The cultural program added a vibrant touch to the evening, featuring captivating performances by students that highlighted their artistic talents and cultural diversity. Following this, awards were distributed to students from Classes I to XI, honouring their academic and extracurricular achievements.

Recognition was also given to students and teachers who achieved 100% attendance, underscoring their unwavering commitment and dedication. The coveted house trophy was awarded, celebrating the collective efforts and spirit of teamwork within the school houses.

The event culminated with inspiring speeches that highlighted the importance of perseverance, dedication, and the continuous pursuit of excellence. The esteemed Chief Guest, ADG Mr. Dhruvkant Thakur and the distinguished Special Guest, Mr. G.S. Dhama, were honored with a token of profound reverence. The ceremony concluded with the national anthem, bringing a sense of unity and patriotism to a memorable and uplifting evening.

Empowering Lifesavers: A Workshop on Cardiac Arrest Prevention and Response at KLI

K. L. International School hosted an enlightening and practical workshop on cardiac arrest and its preventive measures, conducted by Medanta. The workshop was led by Ms. Bharti Singh, a seasoned professional instructor at Medanta Medicity, with extensive experience in providing Basic Life Support (BLS) training. Ms Bharti Singh commenced the workshop by elucidating the fundamental differences between cardiac arrest and heart attack, a distinction crucial for effective response and treatment. The session provided invaluable training on how to save the life of a cardiac arrest victim. Ms Singh demonstrated the steps of performing CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), emphasizing the importance of quick and decisive action. A detailed guide on first aid procedures for cardiac arrest was provided to the attendees. They were shown how to properly position hands for chest compressions, how to deliver rescue breaths and the correct use of air pumps.

Mr Animesh Kumar, Senior Manager at Medanta Medicity Gurgaon, joined Ms Singh in an interactive question and answer session. They addressed queries and cleared doubts from both students and teachers, providing deeper insights into cardiac health and emergency response.

The workshop culminated with a hands-on activity where participants practised the techniques learned during the session. This practical exercise ensured that attendees could confidently apply the right procedures in real-life scenarios. The workshop concluded with heartfelt gratitude expressed by Mr Tejinder Khurana, Vice-Chairman of K. L. International School. He thanked the organizers for conducting such a valuable and potentially life-saving session.

K. L. International School's KG Wing celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and zeal. The event aimed to educate young minds about the importance of yoga in daily life and to encourage them to incorporate it into their routines. On this auspicious occasion, teachers explained the significance of yoga to the children, highlighting its benefits for mental and physical health. The children, eager and excited, participated actively in the yoga session.

Under the auspices of the esteemed Science Olympiad Foundation, K. L. International School proudly lauds its students' triumphant participation across three distinguished categories: the SOF Science Olympiad, English Olympiad and Mathematics Olympiad.

Amidst a dazzling display of academic prowess, Abhinav Agarwal's stellar performance illuminated the school's name with a radiant glow, earning him the prestigious zonal gold medal along with the generous sum of Rs 5000 along with Zonal Gold and the distinguished certificate of zonal excellence.

Naitik Kumar's brilliance in the realm of science stood as a beacon of distinction, earning him a commendable reward of Rs 2500, a Zonal silver medal, and a testament to his prowess through a certificate.

Ishani Gupta's achievement in securing the Zonal bronze medal, coupled with a commendation of Rs 1000 and a testament of achievement, further burnished the school's reputation for nurturing brilliance.

Diving into the realm of linguistic finesse, Anvi Garg emerged as a luminous symbol of excellence, clinching the coveted reward of Rs 2500 alongside a gleaming silver medal and a testament of achievement in the form of a Zonal certificate. Daksh Anand, Divyam sharma and Pranshul Pokhariya through their remarkable performance, garnered not just gifts valued at Rs 500 but also a testament to their skill and dedication encapsulated in the form of a certificate.

In the domain of numerical acumen, Akshat Goel's prowess merited not only applause but also a gift valued at Rs 500 and a certificate, symbolizing his proficiency in the field.

With a total of 8 Zonal excellence certificates and an impressive tally of 62 merit certificates; the School’s Principal showered the participants with heartfelt appreciation and congratulatory remarks, reaffirming the institution's steadfast commitment to nurturing and celebrating academic excellence.

The Inter House Dramatic Monologue Competition showcased a riveting portrayal of unsung heroes who have left an indelible mark on history. From Rajendra Lahiri to Savitribai Phule, Jhalkari Bai to Nayak Deep Chand, the performances paid homage to individuals whose contributions often went unnoticed.

The event commenced with a poignant introduction highlighting the significance of recognizing the unsung heroes who have played pivotal roles in shaping society. Each house presented monologues that eloquently depicted the struggles, triumphs, and sacrifices of these remarkable individuals.

The judges, in their insightful speeches, commended the participants for their heartfelt performances and the depth of emotion conveyed. They lauded the creativity, passion and dedication exhibited by all the houses in bringing these unsung heroes to life on stage.

After careful deliberation, the judges selected the top three individuals and houses based on their total performance marks. Prakash House clinched the First position, followed by Prayas House in Second place, and Prerna House securing Third place. The felicitation ceremony saw these outstanding performers and houses being recognized for their exceptional portrayal of the theme. 

It was a testament to the power of storytelling and theatre in celebrating the legacy of these extra ordinary unsung heroes.
 


 

Triumph of Our Young Skaters Shines Bright at Ghaziabad 

The Ghaziabad Open Inter Club Roller Skating Championship 2024, orchestrated in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh Roller Skating Association (UPRSA), unfolded its spectacle in Ghaziabad. This grand event attracted participants hailing from various scholastic institutions, each serving as a beacon illuminating the prodigious talent and dexterity of young roller skaters within the region.

Amidst this exhilarating ambience, the students from K. L. International School emerged as exemplars of excellence, etching their names in the annals of glory. Leysha Bhutani of Class VI-D adorned herself with accolades, seizing both a gold and a bronze medal in distinct categories, while Anshika Verma of Class VI-G exhibited her mettle by securing a coveted silver medal.

This roller skating gala not only served as a crucible for budding talent but also as a stage for spirited competition at its zenith. The laurels garnered by our students serve as a testament to the unwavering commitment of the school to fostering sporting prowess among its protégés. Academic Brilliance Illuminates: K. L. International School Students Achieve Stellar Results in CBSE Class X Board Exams 

The students of K. L. International School have achieved remarkable success in the recently declared Class X board exam results by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). With an exceptional 100% pass rate, the students have brought immense pride to the school.

Out of the 453 students who appeared for the Class X board examinations for the academic session 2023-24, an impressive 131 students secured aggregate scores exceeding 90%, a testament to their diligence and dedication.

The top achievers include:
- Pranay Rastogi, who achieved an outstanding score of 99.0%
- Riddhi Bhatia, who secured an impressive 98.6%
- Rishabh Raj, who attained a commendable 98.4%
- Kratika Singh, Ansh Singhal and Paras Bhardwaj, all achieving a remarkable 98.0%
- Bhavya Bhardwaj and Abhinav Agarwal, scoring an impressive 97.8%

Moreover, 32 students demonstrated excellence by securing perfect scores of 100/100 in various subjects, with Sanskrit leading with 14 students.

Celebrating the Panache of Success in CBSE Board Results Class XII 

With a triumphant stride, K. L. International revels in the resplendent achievements of its students in the 2023-2024 CBSE board exams. Achieving an impeccable 100% pass rate, our students have adorned the halls of academia with their brilliance.

Encompassing a total of 385 diligent scholars, our cohort includes 227 astute minds from the science stream, 99 budding entrepreneurs from commerce, and 59 humanities enthusiasts. Notably, 90 of our students have ascended to the pinnacle of academic excellence, surpassing the 90% aggregate threshold.

In the realm of academia luminaries such as Ramya Singhal clinched the AIR 1 and Country Topper at 99.8% while Bhuvi Chugh and Kamya Chopra joined the cohort with 99%.

The Family Day celebration at K. L. International School was a delightful event as the students and their parents were immersed in a day, full of fun and learning. The echoes of revolution reverberated throughout the school premises on the auspicious occasion of Kranti Diwas. A special assembly commenced with prayer, pledges, thoughtful speeches and an engaging skit by the students.

The highlight of the assembly was the harmonious ode to Kranti Diwas through the Inter-House group singing competition 'Kranti Dhara'. This competition served as a platform for students of the middle wing to showcase their exceptional musical talents. 

Each house presented a diverse range of songs, demonstrating not only their vocal prowess but also their creativity in musical expression. Everyone was sailing with the spirit of patriotism. 

Pragati & Prakash House bagged the first position. Prerna House captured the second position and the third position was obtained by Prayas House. The judges faced a challenging task in selecting the winners, as the level of talent and enthusiasm displayed by all the participants was high.

Students from K. L. International School showcased exemplary diplomatic skills and emerged as winners yet again, maintaining their winning streak at the prestigious Ascendants Model United Nations (MUN) conference hosted by Dayawati Modi Academy. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from schools across the region, with K. L. International students securing numerous accolades and the Best Delegation.

There was a plethora of awards like Best Delegate where Archie Sharma, Addya Tyagi, Skandita Tyagi, Shaurya Singh, Triveni Dutta and Prerit Kapoor demonstrated outstanding leadership and negotiation abilities, earning them not only the coveted title but also a cash prize of Rs. 4000 each.

Another category of awards was high commendation, which was captured by Dhairya Chahal and Aradhya Singhal by showcasing their commendable diplomacy and strategic thinking, thereby earning them a cash prize of Rs.2500 along with the award. Amteshwar Singh keen eye for capturing the essence of the conference through the lens earned him the distinction of Best Photographer and a cash prize of Rs.3000.

Ms. Nupur Goel (IAS), CDO Meerut, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, accompanied by esteemed members of the management, including Mr. Tejinder Khurana, Vice Chairman, Directors Mr. Manmeet Khurana and Mr. Harneet Khurana, alongside the Principal, Mr. Sudhanshu Shekhar, enhancing the event with their esteemed presence.

K. L. International School celebrated Mother's Day with heartfelt warmth and creativity, under the theme "Unification". The event aimed to honour the cherished bond between mothers and their children, while also showcasing the talent and affection of the students.

Children organized various games and activities to honour their mothers, bestowing upon them special titles reflecting their unique qualities such as "Queen of Affection", "Queen of Aesthetic", "Queen of Jewel" and "Queen of Elegance." These titles highlighted the multifaceted roles mothers play in their children's lives. In the classroom, children dedicated their time and creativity to crafting personalized cards for their mothers.

A Tech-Titan competition was also organized, where children showcased their technological skills by crafting E-Cards to pay homage to their mothers.

The whole event was a resounding success, embodying the spirit of love, appreciation and gratitude. The school premises were filled with warmth, laughter and an overwhelming sense of love as mothers and their children came together to celebrate this special day.

The purpose of the visit was to deepen their understanding of recycling processes and environmental stewardship.

Upon arrival, the students were greeted by knowledgeable staff who guided them through the facility's operations. They witnessed first-hand the intricate processes involved in recycling various materials, from plastics to paper and beyond. The tour provided valuable insights into the importance of waste management and the role recycling plays in mitigating environmental degradation.

Laughter is the language of the soul.  

Laughter for kids is like magic; it makes them happier and healthier. Keeping this in view the Kindergarten Wing of K. L. International School celebrated World Laughter Day. The tiny tots were shown a cartoon movie that brought smiles and laughter to them. A laughter yoga session was conducted. Laughter yoga exercises were interspersed with deep breathing techniques to induce relaxation and uplift spirits. Activities such as funny face contests and improvisational games kept the energy high throughout the day. The event served as a reminder to prioritize laughter and humour in daily life, fostering a happier and healthier school community.

The celebration of achievement continues with Raghav Goel and Shivansh Goyal, whose impressive percentiles of 97.81 and 97.80, respectively, reflect their unwavering dedication to academic excellence. Additionally, Shradha Kabdwal, with a notable percentile of 97.41, adds to the chorus of triumph.

The achievement continues with Vishesh Sharma and Vaibhav Kalyan, who showcased remarkable dedication and diligence, securing percentiles of 96.75 and 96.55, respectively. On the occasion of 'World Labour Day' the significance of workers in our lives was highlighted at K.G. wing & I-II wing of our school. The event aimed to educate children about the importance of labourers and to instil a sense of respect and gratitude towards them.

During the event, the importance of workers in our lives was emphasized through various activities and discussions. Tiny-Tots were engaged in creating beautiful symbols of appreciation, to recognize the contributions of helpers.

They were encouraged to create handmade badges and cards, to honour the labourers. These symbols served as a reminder of the invaluable role workers play in our society.

The event aimed to cultivate a sense of respect and gratitude towards all workers in the minds of children, by recognizing the efforts of helpers and labourers.

At K. L. International School, World Book Day was not just another event; it was a vibrant celebration of literature and reading culture. The day commenced with the Kindergarten section engaging in a 'D.E.A.R.' (DROP EVERYTHING and READ) activity, emphasizing the importance of reading from a young age.

Meanwhile, across other wings of the school, students were immersed in a plethora of activities designed to ignite their passion for literature. Through the art of paper bag making, adorned with inspiring quotes from beloved literary works, students found a creative outlet to express themselves while delving into the wisdom of literature.

In another corner of the school, students eagerly shared their favourite literary gems and stories, fostering a sense of community and appreciation for diverse narratives. The atmosphere was alive with excitement as students explored the endless possibilities of storytelling.

Meanwhile, the other students showcased their imaginative flair through a fancy dress competition centred around environmental themes.

The assembly conducted on this day was a poignant reminder of our collective responsibility towards the environment. It featured solemn prayers, heartfelt pledges, thought-provoking thoughts, inspiring poems, insightful skits, and an uplifting dance performance celebrating the beauty of nature.

Lastly, our future environmentalists also displayed their artistic talents through a poster-making activity, creating visually compelling posters being the proponents for environmental conservation.

Meanwhile, the students of classes VI-VIII organized a Currency Note Quiz, adding another dimension to the celebration. This quiz was designed to test the participants' knowledge of various currencies from around the globe. Through images and descriptions of currency notes, participants were challenged to identify different currencies, fostering cultural awareness and appreciation for the rich diversity of nations worldwide. The onset of spring in India is marked by the celebration of the Baisakhi festival around the nation. This festival signifies the end of the harvest season and is an occasion of tremendous elation and festivity for the farmers. It is celebrated on 13 April annually.

KLI celebrated this harvest festival by conducting an assembly where the students prayed and thanked the Lord Almighty for everything. Thereafter the students came up with a school pledge and a beautiful thought.

Amazing facts and an engrossing speech regarding Baisakhi highlighted the importance of the day. A poem related to the festival was recited by the students. A hypnotic dance performance on Baisakhi left the audience spellbound.
